The manual for the stuff you already own.

Written by someone who has spent a long time fixing things instead of throwing them away. Household repair guides, maintenance routines, and the honest costs of doing the job yourself, one broken thing at a time.

Our editorial line

We write for people who'd rather fix something than throw it out.

Repair Habit started in a small workshop in 2019, half hobby, half quiet protest against the wear-and-replace mindset. Today we publish careful, tested maintenance and repair advice for the ordinary things in our homes, garages, and pockets.

  • 01
Repair-first, always Every guide assumes you'd rather keep the thing you own than buy a new one. We start with the smallest, cheapest fix.
  • 02
Tested by humans Contributors actually own and use the items they write about. No drop-shipped opinions, no specs lifted from product pages.
  • 03
Honest about limits If a repair is risky, expensive, or beyond a normal person at home, we say so. Sometimes the answer is "call someone."
  • 04
Anti-waste, by habit Less landfill is a happy side effect of fixing things. We don't preach, but we do think it matters.
